Queen Victoria

The first stamps appeared from Cyprus in 1880 and consisted of stamps from Great Britain, overprinted with the word Cyprus. The rarist stamp by far is a penny red overprinted Cyprus, plate 184 which is catalogued at a whopping £14,000.

Many stamps were issued with a portrait of Queen Victoria from 1881, most of these stamps up until 1896 are very collectable.

King Edward Vll

Two very nice sets were issued during this period, the first in 1902 which consisted of 10 stamps. The highest value being the 45pi stamp, which alone is valued at £200 in mint and £500 in used condition. The second set came out in 1904 and had 12 stamps with a total value of £250 in mint condition.

King George V

Several nice sets were issued in this period, highlights include the 1921-23 set of 15 stamps with a value of £400.  Two high values were issued during this same period, with a watermark multi-crown CA, the two values were the 10/- and £1 stamps catalogued at around £1,500 for the two. The rarist stamp from this period is the very hard to find  SG117a the £5 black and yellow, issued in 1928 which is valued at £3,000 in mint and £6,500 in used, another nice set to look out for, is the 1928 Anniversary set, with values up to a £1 which is catalogued at £300 in mint condition.

King George Vl

Just one good set in this reign, it was issued between 1938-51 and is a set of 19 stamps with values up to £1. It is catalogued at £180 in mint and £40 in used condition.

Two good sets were issued during this period, both consisting of 15 stamps, the first coming out in 1965 with a value of £90, the second between 1960-61 with a combined value of £120 in mint and £75 used.
