Victoria
The
first stamps came out between 1870 and 1871, 9 stamps
were printed with a value of each stamp being between
£900 and £3,500. Lots of other stamps were issued between
1871 and 1902, all are well
collected.
King Edward
Vll
Two
sets were issued during this reign the first in 1903
which consisted of 11 stamps, the rarist
being the One Pound SG114 priced at £325 in
mint and £400 in used. The second set was issued between
1906-1912 with 7 stamps, the One Pound SG124 being the
rarist with a catalogue value of £300 in mint and £275 in
used condition.
King George
V
Two
nice sets were issued from this period, the first
appeared in 1912 (die 1) and consisted of 13 stamps with
a total value of £300, the majority of this value coming
from the One Pound SG137 which alone is
catalogued at £275 in mint or used condition. The second
set from 1922-1929 period (die 2) was made up of 14
stamps with a combined value of £90 in mint condition and
double in used.
King George Vl
One
nice set was issued in this period, this being the
1938-1955 set of 22 stamps with a combined value of
£250.
Queen Elizabeth
ll
The
best set was issued between 1954-1959 it had 15 stamps,
with the One Pound SG295 being the highest value and the
rarist stamp in the set with a value of
£38.
