Victoria
Most of
the stamps produced between 1840 and 1901 are
very sort after by collectors through-out the
World. The most well known is the 1840 Penny Black
which can fetch up to £8,000 in mint condition and
about £100 in used condition. All the high values
from this period fetch very high prices. The £1
SG129 from 1867-1883 cataloging at £55,000 in mint
condition. The blued paper stamps of the same
period also fetch very high prices with the 5/-
catalogued at £20,000, 10/- £62,000, £1 £85,000 and the
£5 orange stamp at
£45,000.
King Edward
Vll
A large
number of stamps were issued during the 1902-1910
period, values range from 1/2d to £1 dull
blue/green, which is catalogued at £1,750 in mint and
£650 in used
condition.
King George
V
Again lots of stamps
produced during this period, the best being the 1913-1918
Seahorse high
values. The best stamp being the 1915 SG411 10/-
deep blue, which is catalogued at £2,500 in mint and £875 in
used condition. Another nice stamp from this period is
the £1 black Congress stamp of 1929 which is valued at £750 in
mint condition.

The
best stamp form this period is undoubtedly the 10/- dark
blue SG478 which came out in 1939 and is catalogued at
£240 in mint
condition.
Queen Elizabeth
ll
Many,
many stamps have been issued during this period with the
1955-1958 high value set being the best, with a catalogue
value of £225 in mint
condition.
