Victoria
The
first stamps issued by Jamaica came out between 1860-70,
there were 6 values all with a pineapple
watermark. Two more sets were issued, the first in
1870 with a crown cc watermark and consisted of 9 stamps
with a top value of 5/-, this set is valued at £600 in
mint condition. The third set of this
reign were issued in 1883 with a crown ca
watermark. This set had 11 stamps and is
valued at over £600 in mint
condition.
King Edward
Vll
Three
sets were issued during this reign, the best being
the 1905-11 set, with 11 stamps with a toal value of £200
in mint and £325 in
used.
King George
V
The best set
from this period was
issued between 1919-21 and consisted of 12 stamps with the top
value being 10/- SG89. The full set is catalogued at £150
in mint and £325 in
used.
King George
Vl
The
best set of this reign is by far the 1938-52 set of
18 stamps, with a combined value of £100 in mint
condition.
Queen Elizabeth
ll
Lots of
sets from this period but nothing of great
value.
