Victoria
The
first stamps were issued in 1890 from, the then British
East Africa Company, many expensive stamps too numerous
to mention from this period. We feel that this is a good
area to collect.
King Edward

Three
sets from this period, the first issued in
1903 consisted of 13 stamps with a top value of
50 Rupees which is priced at £1500 plus. The second
set was issued in 1904, with 13 stamps and again the top
value is 50 Rupee with a price tag of £1,700
plus. The third set came out in 1907 and had 9
stamps, with a cataloge value of
£80.
King George
V
Four
nice sets from this reign, the first between
1912-21 with the top value being the 500 Rupee SG63 with
a price of £22,000. The second set was issued
between 1921-22 with 10 stamps, the top value being a 50
Rupee valued at £2,250 in mint and £4,750 in used
condition. The third set was issued between 1922-27 and
consisted of 20 stamps with the top value being the £100
red and black SG 105 stamp, with a catalogue price of
nearly £100,000. The fourth set was issued between
1935-37 and consisted of 14 stamps with a total value of
£275.

one set from this period and it was issued between
1938-54 and consisted of 20 stamps, with a total value of
£160 for the cheapest
varieties.
Queen Elizabeth

Easily
the best set is the 1954-59 of 14 stamps with a combined
catalogue value of £90
plus.
